A farmer reported a wind gust estimated at 60 miles per hour near the intersection of Highway 109 and Dunigan Ln.

Wider weather episode

A surface trough and southward advancing cold front led to showers and storms tracking northwest to southeast, largely across the southern Piedmont, Sandhills, and Coastal Plain. While most of the storms were not severe, one storm did produce wind gusts to 60 miles per hour and nickel size hail in Montgomery County.
