Event narrative

Report came in from a resident in Twin Hills. They drove 3 miles along the beach to give us an update. She noted that wave debris along gravel never made it past where the green begins. There were areas of the beach where the sand/gravel had been washed out, making it impassable due to the larger boulders.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure moving through the Bering brought increased surf to the Bristol Bay coastline. A tight pressure gradient due to the low brought gusty winds and helped to push the water towards the coastline raising the water levels.
