APRFC tweeted pictures of Campbell Creek overtopping bank and an inundated bike path near Dimond Blvd.

Hit minor flood stage: SF Campbell Creek (data from hydrograph used for verification timing), Chester Creek

Hit action stage: Ship Creek, Campbell Creek at Dimond, Glacier Creek in Girdwood.

Wider weather episode

After the two months of dry and sunny weather due to mostly upper level ridging in place across much of Alaska, the pattern flipped for the second half of the month to more of an upper level trough as the upper level ridge shifted to the east. This resulted in multiple storm systems moving into Southcentral with rounds of heavy rainfall that resulted in small streams and river rises in the area.
