Landscaping and trash cans washed away in front of the Space Museum due to high water flows. The radar estimated 1.5 to 2 inches of rainfall upstream of the museum over Horse Ridge.

Wider weather episode

Some drier low level air started moving into southern New Mexico, but modest mid level moisture remained across the area. Gusty winds and flash flooding were reported with the stronger storms that developed in Grant and Otero counties.
