County comms reported large trees blocking the road and damaging a bridge on Houser Farm Rd. Another large tree was blown down across Bess Chapel Church Rd.

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed over western North Carolina during the afternoon into the early evening. Several of the storms produced locally damaging wind gusts.
