Law enforcement reported 14 power poles down near Parker, Kansas. It was unclear if they were broken or leaned over, or if the powerlines were removed from the poles themselves.

The wider storm

Early morning convection produced numerous thunderstorms across the area. Given the early morning atmosphere there was not much wind damage reported with these storms, but a few isolated wind events occurred just south of Kansas City in Miami and Linn Counties. The worst of the damage was some power poles down near Parker, Kansas.
