The combination of high temperatures in the upper 90s and dew points in the mid to upper 70s led to heat indices in the 105 to 110 degree range across the western half of Middle Tennessee from June 13 through June 16. This heat wave caused roughly 15 heat-related injuries in Nashville over the 4 day period, per the Nashville Office of Emergency Management. No deaths were reported.
