Approximately 2000 customers without power across southern limits of Cordele due to multiple trees and powerlines down.

Wider weather episode

Multiple waves of typical daytime summertime showers and thunderstorms developed within a modestly unstable and abnormally moist tropical airmass during the afternoon and evenings of July 19th through July 21st. These storms produced numerous reports of trees and powerlines down, quarter size hail, and flash flooding across portions of north and central Georgia.
