Thunderstorms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding in Edwards County. The Edwards County Sheriff's Office reported several low water crossings on Hwy 55 near Barksdale were flooded and impassable.

Wider weather episode

A mid to upper level low moved over a warm, moist airmass in South Central Texas and generated slow moving thunderstorms. Some of these storms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding.
