Thunderstorms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding in Edwards County along the Nueces River. A video on social media showed swiftly flowing water through a low water crossing on Dry Creek Rd. near Barksdale.

Wider weather episode

A mid to upper level low moved over a warm, moist airmass in South Central Texas and generated slow moving thunderstorms. Some of these storms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding.
