Thunderstorms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding in rural Kinney County. A trained storm spotter reported 2 to 2.5 feet of fast-moving water through a low water crossing on FM 334 at Live Oak Creek.

Wider weather episode

A mid to upper level low moved over a warm, moist airmass in South Central Texas and generated slow moving thunderstorms. Some of these storms produced heavy rain that led to flash flooding.
