Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down trees near Combs Hill Road.

Southwest flow advected warm, humid air into the region creating an unstable environment in the afternoon. A disturbance moved across Central New York, triggering multiple thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms became severe with damaging wind gusts. Some property damage occurred to houses and vehicles and one person was injured after a tree and utility wires fell onto their car.
