The Stayman Fire was first reported on July 18 at approximately 2:35 p.m. The fire is burned in brush and grass. It was first assessed at 35 acres and grew to approximately 1200 acres. Level 1 evacuations were in place.
Wider weather episode
A thunderstorm passed South of Chelan, WA and started the Stayman wildfire. The fired burned around 1200 acres and lasted from July 18 to July 22.
