Several videos from a spotter as well as verbal confirmation of flash flooding near Highway 142.

Monsoonal moisture remained over southern New Mexico as a weak upper trough was lifting out of southern Arizona. Numerous showers and thunderstorms developed over the higher terrain of the Gila region which brought flash flooding to the Monticello area.
