As a line of storms tracked across northern Michigan during the early morning hours of 8/3, a strong thunderstorm initiated over Wisconsin and eventually formed a line segment that moved into the area late that same morning. This line of storms produced severe hail and damaging wind gusts across a swath of the southern CWA along the M-55 corridor.
