The Texas Coastal Ocean Observing Network (TCOON) site at Rincon del San Jose (RSJT2) reported wind gusts measured at 34 knots associated with a cold front producing a broken line of showers and thunderstorms at 4:18AM CDT.

A strong cold front brought a broken line of showers and a few thunderstorms to the Lower Texas Coast on the morning of October 25th. Several of the Texas Coastal Ocean Observing Network (TCOON) sites along with Buoy42020 reported gusts over 34 knots as the line moved through.
