Event narrative

The Cedar Creek Fire continued to burn through the month, growing to approximately 120,700 acres with 27 percent containment at the end of the month. The fire grew considerably on the 9th-10th when dry east winds hit the area. On the 9th, Level 3 (Go Now) evacuation notices were posted for the Oakridge, Westfir, and High Prairie communities.
