A severe thunderstorm producing winds estimated near 60 mph knocked down trees near Numidia.

A line of thunderstorms crossed the Mid-Susquehanna Valley during the early evening hours of September 25, 2022, as a cold front crossed the area. In spite of relatively modest instability, deep-layer shear was sufficient enough to produce isolated damaging winds within this line of storms.
