Several roadways flooded, including along Toll Branch Road, and on Elizabethton Hwy near the community of Central, and also up to 8 inches of water on roadways near the intersection of Old Milligan Hwy and Cedar Grove Road.

High pressure over the area led to weak steering currents. Slow moving thunderstorms produced locally heavy rain.
