Across Prairie County, measured snowfall amounts ranged from 3.0 to 6.0 inches. The greatest amount of 6.0 inches was measured by a trained spotter at 10 WNW McCloud.

The first winter storm of the season occurred when a Pacific Storm moved in from the Pacific Northwest and redeveloped on the east side of the Continental Divide. Many areas saw accumulating snow with areas along the Canadian Border receiving the highest amounts.
