The Murray's Hill weather station recorded a wind gust of 58 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

Wider weather episode

A late September moisture surge yielded isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms from roughly September 28 through the 30, some of which resulted in strong wind gusts. Some isolated flash flooding was noted in some southern Utah locations as well.
