Several observation platforms including SNOTELs and ski sites reported snowfall accumulations between 8 and 12 inches in less than 10 hours from near Tres Ritos to Santa Fe Ski Basin.

A fast-moving winter storm system moved east through northern New Mexico during the overnight hours of November 13-14, 2022. Several locations along the central mountain chain and nearby highlands picked up one to four inches of snowfall during the early morning hours as a potent cold front moved through the region. The heaviest snowfall occurred in the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains where an intense burst of snow resulted in eight to 12 inches in less than eight hours.
