Event narrative

Severe wind gusts caused damage in the vicinity of Airport Road and Parish Line Road which included shingles blown off a house, tin peeled from a small shed, a crop duster plan flipped, and several trees blown down.

Wider weather episode

A few rounds of severe thunderstorms moved across portions of northeast Louisiana from late in the evening of April 12th through the evening of April 13th. These storms produced wind damage and several tornadoes before a cold front brought an end to storms from west to east.
