SNOW SQUALL. A broken line of snow squalls accompanied by gusty winds produced brief whiteout conditions as it crossed southern Clinton County during the late afternoon of November 18, 2022.

A reinforcing shot of unseasonably cold air led to a broken line of snow squalls that pushed from west to east across central Pennsylvania during the afternoon of November 18, 2022. These squalls reduced visibility to a quarter mile or less and were accompanied by gusty winds. Surface temperatures were just above freezing for many locations at the onset of the squalls, and flash-freezing was a concern.
