Both directions on Rte-35 just south of Ware Road closed due to a tree on the roadway.

Wider weather episode

In the wake of a strong cold frontal passage the morning on the morning of the 22nd, gusty northwesterly winds developed, bringing down some trees. The gustiest winds developed along the coast, where a wind advisory was issued from North Bay through the Big Sur coast from the late morning through the evening. Wind gusts reached 35 to 48 mph along the coast. Gale warnings were also issued for the coastal waters.
