An observer reported 2.99 inches in Kingston and another report in Hillsboro of 2.15 inches.

Wider weather episode

A deep east to southeast flow brought ample Gulf of Mexico moisture into the region which combined with a slow moving upper low moving through Arizona. Heavy rain fell across much of Luna, Grant and western Sierra counties with rainfall totals up to about four and a half inches.
