Very strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted the San Fernando Valley. Some peak northeasterly wind gusts from the local mesonet include: Browns Canyon (gust 81 MPH) and Saddlestone Ranch (gust 62 MPH).
Wider weather episode
Very strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted many areas of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Peak wind gusts in excess of 100 MPH were reported in the mountains with gusts between 60 and 80 MPH across other sections of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
