Strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted the Southeastern Valleys of Ventura county. Some peak northeasterly wind gusts from the local mesonet include: Simi Valley at Cochran Road (gust 72 MPH) and Miller Ranch (gust 59 MPH).
Wider weather episode
Very strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted many areas of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Peak wind gusts in excess of 100 MPH were reported in the mountains with gusts between 60 and 80 MPH across other sections of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
