To start November, ongoing drought conditions in the southern three quarters of Northern Valley County were in (D3-Extreme) drought, while the northern quarter of the county along the Canadian border was in (D2-Severe) conditions. These conditions would remain the same through the end of the month.

Wider weather episode

Despite November being colder than average and having above normal precipitation for the month, the drought picture over northeast Montana remains relatively unchanged.
