Estimated 50 mph winds in Spring Valley. Damage occurred at the Terrace Estates on Sweetwater Road, where at least five mobile homes were damaged. A roof was removed, a car port was destroyed, several roofs were damaged, and debris was lifted several hundred feet.
Wider weather episode
Strong Santa Ana winds occurred on October 19. Several reports of damage occurred, especially in San Diego County, where breaking waves were reported west of the mountains.
