About a foot of snow occurred near the summit of Mt. Lemmon at elevations above 8000 feet.

Wider weather episode

A Winter Storm impacted southeast Arizona, resulting in heavy snow for some of the Sky Islands and even some light snow accumulations for valley cities between 4000 and 5000 feet. The light accumulations caused some districts in Cochise County to delay the start of the school day.
