Snow began the morning of the 12th and continued into the afternoon of the 13th. A cooperative weather observer in Tok reported a storm total of 11 inches of snow during the event.

A front associated with a low moving east across the Gulf of Alaska brought snow to far southeastern Interior Alaska on the 12th and 13th of October.
