Locally heavy rainfall was reported during the evening. Radar rainfall estimates were 2 to 3 inches per hour, from nearly stationary thunderstorms anchored over east Maui. Some locations impacted were around, Nahiku, Kipahulu, Keanae, Hana, Kaupo, Huelo, Haiku-Pauwela, Wailua, Haleakala National Park, Kailua and Hamoa.
