The Shanghi Summit SNOTEL received 5 inches of snow and it also reported heavy snow rates during the event. Other snow amounts ranged from 2 to 4 inches. The Grangemont webcam revealed snow-covered roads during the morning commute.

Wider weather episode

A moist, mid-level occluded front brought widespread snow and slick roads to north-central Idaho.
