Event narrative

The Schwartz Lake SNOTEL received 0.60 inches of snow water equivalent which could equate to around 10 inches. The Leadore COOP reported 3 inches of snow and the ITD webcam at Gilmore Summit showed snow-covered roads.

Wider weather episode

A mid-level low pressure system moved from southern Idaho to Lost Trail to Great Falls and brought a continuous swath of 6 to 12 inches of heavy snow and slick conditions approximately 110 miles to the north and west of the track.
