A spotter one mile south of Featherville, ID reported 5.0 inches of snow with a water content of 0.79 inches, causing major traffic delays in the town.

An upper level low pressure system with a strong cold front brought strong winds, heavy rain, and mountain snow to the region. This caused numerous transportation hazards and difficulties.
