A member of the public reported 1.0 inches of snow that cause multiple downed tree branches near Park Center Boulevard due to heavy and wet snow.

Wider weather episode

An anomalously low upper level trough brought widespread snow to the region. Wet snow fell in the Ada County area, causing traffic delays and widespread damage due to falling branches and trees from accumulating wet snow on foliage.
