Lake effect snow accumulated between 4 and 12 inches.

Wider weather episode

A lake effect snow band dropped south in Oneida County which was enhanced by a 500 mb vorticity maximum. This band dropped 1 to 2 feet of snow along and north of the NYS Thruway. While lesser amounts were observed south of the NYS Thruway, multiple reports in the central part of Oneida County were in the 6 to 12 inch range.
