Snow accumulated between 5 and 12 inches.

A complex winter storm moved through Central New York on the 15th and 16th. Precipitation started out as freezing mix for some areas and snow for others. Any mix became mostly snow during the day of the 15th. Travel conditions became hazardous, especially during the evening commute, as snow accumulated on roadways. Some locations received a break from the snow overnight before it picked back up on the 16th due to a storm moving north along the Atlantic coast. Snow came to an end on the 17th. The highest snowfall accumulations were mainly along and east of I-81.
