A Cooperative Observer reported 7 inches of snow about 2 miles south of Cloudcroft. Another observer reported 7 inches in Cloudcroft.

An upper low was moving along the New Mexico-Mexico border which interacted with a back door cold front to produce moderate to heavy snow across the higher elevations and eastern slopes of the Sacramento Mountains.
