Multiple greater than 60 mph wind gusts were recorded with a peak of 66 mph southeast of Howe at INL Naval Reactors.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved through eastern Idaho with heavy mountain snowfall and very high winds mainly in the Arco Desert. Gusts over 70 mph were recorded and interstate 15 shut down on the 5th north of Idaho Falls. High mountain locations received over a foot of snow.
