The following snowfall was estimated at SNOTEL sites: Dollarhide Summit 12 inches, Galena and Galena Summit 8 inches.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved through eastern Idaho with heavy mountain snowfall and very high winds mainly in the Arco Desert. Gusts over 70 mph were recorded and interstate 15 shut down on the 5th north of Idaho Falls. High mountain locations received over a foot of snow.
