Event narrative

Several SNOTEL stations including Bug Lake, Lightning Ridge, and Tony Grove Lake recorded between around 2.1 to 3.1 inches of snow water equivalent, or approximately 2 to 3 feet of snow. The Farmington SNOTEL station recorded the highest in the zone, with 3.55 inches of snow water equivalent, or approximately 41 inches of snow. In addition, many automated weather stations recorded strong wind gusts, including 82 mph at Ogden Peak, 81 mph at LOGAN PEAK, and 80 mph at Peter Sinks Rim.

Wider weather episode

Another November system brought high winds to many locations throughout Utah. The system also brought snow and rain to many locations, with some appreciable accumulations noted across many Utah mountains.
