Event narrative

Several SNOTEL stations including Redden Mine LWR, Spirit Lk, and Trial Lake recorded between around 1.1 to 1.3 inches of snow water equivalent, or approximately 13 to 16 inches of snow. In addition, many automated weather stations recorded strong wind gusts, including 96 mph at CHEPETA, 86 mph at Windy Peak, and 75 mph at Duchesne Ridge.

Wider weather episode

Another November system brought high winds to many locations throughout Utah. The system also brought snow and rain to many locations, with some appreciable accumulations noted across many Utah mountains.
