Santa Ana winds impacted the Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills starting late on November 15th and lasting through the afternoon hours on the 16th. The strongest winds occurred during the early morning hours on the 16th. The Fremont Canyon RAWS site recorded a peak wind gust of 85 mph. The Upper Talega mesonet site also recorded a peak wind gust of 59 mph.
