Another round of strong to severe storms developed, mainly across the southeastern half of the state on the afternoon of the 29th, as a cold front swept through the region. While Arkansas did have some severe weather, the bulk of damaging thunderstorms remained across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.
