COOP in Elfin Cove measured 7.5 inches of snow by 3pm on the 10th. Similarly, the COOP observer in Pelican measured 4.5 inches by 8am on the 10th and another 3.9 inches after that.

Wider weather episode

Low and associated frontal band moved across the northern panhandle after a cold break, causing snow. A brief period of enhanced snow fall rates of 1 to 2 inches an hour early Thursday morning was followed by a mix with with rain through the afternoon for the Icy Strait area. The northern inner channels saw snow last longer.
