The Santa Fe Ski area measured 11 inches of snowfall.

The second in a series of Pacific storm systems brought winter impacts to western and northern NM on January 17, 2023. This was mostly in the form of heavy snow accumulations with the highest amounts of a 11 to 14.5 inches in the Jemez Mountains. Accumulations of 10 to 12 inches also fell in the Tusas Mountains and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Winter impacts lasted into the morning of January 18, 2023. High winds also impacted portions of the eastern plains on January 18, 2023 after this storm system exited the state to the east. Strong northwesterly wind gusts peaked to 67 mph at Guadalupe County and De Baca County.
