Peak wind gusts included: 64 mph, 3 miles south-southeast of Aurora, 63 mph near Bennett, and 55 mph, 10 miles east of Arapahoe Park.
The wider storm
High winds spread across the urban corridor and northeast plains. Peak wind gusts ranged from 58 mph to 69 mph. In Washington County, blowing dust restricted the visibility to less than 100 feet near Lone Star.
