Over a foot of snow fell in the Blanding area with significant travel impacts reported along Highway 191.

Wider weather episode

The final shortwave trough associated with a prolonged atmospheric river event trekked across eastern Utah. Continued abundant moisture paired with favorable orographics resulted in moderate to heavy snow for the mountains as well as some valleys. Winds gusted to almost 50 mph at times in the mountains.
